Maya grew up in Ardsley, and after 19 years of living in various cities around the world, she has settled back into life in Ardsley with her husband, 2 children and dog, Boomer. Having grown up in Westchester she has extensive knowledge of the area and all that the Rivertowns have to offer.
Maya graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a bachelors degree in Computer Science. She had a successful career at GE Capital Real Estate for over 10 years, working in their Paris, Tokyo, LA and NY offices. This extensive experience as a Finance Manager at a global commercial Real Estate company gave her deep understanding of the Real Estate industry and market. Prior to joining Compass, Maya started her own interior design and renovation business in Brooklyn.

With an amazing eye for design, Lindsay Rothman helps clients see possibilities they might otherwise have missed, whether that's helping a seller to maximize their own property's best features or guiding a buyer who has overlooked a diamond in the rough.
Lindsay got her start in the business by staging the homes of friends and family members, nearly all of which sold within weeks, proving that she had a natural gift for real estate marketing. Today, Lindsay applies that talent throughout her native Westchester County where loves helping clients see the possibilities in something that isn't perfect and assisting those relocating to the suburbs from the city, as she did herself.
Prior to real estate, Lindsay was a special education teacher, an experience that formed important skills she uses to this day. "Being a teacher not only taught me how to communicate clearly, but it also taught me how to really listen, with patience and empathy," she explains. "It also gave me the thickest skin you can imagine!"
In her free time, Lindsay loves spending time with friends and family, staying active and sampling Westchester's amazing restaurants.
Philip Patafio joined The Why Westchester Team after a successful career at a top-tier investment bank. Phil joined the team with expert knowledge in finance and real estate markets and has a proven track record of success. A seasoned associate in fixed income, Phil understands market risk and the correlation within the real estate market.
Phil uses his finance background to give him foresight into realty trends, allowing him to leverage and navigate investments and market positions for the first-time home buyer to the savvy investor.

A Westchester native born and raised in Bronxville, Phil currently lives in Greenwich, Connecticut. A Vespa aficionado, Phil fits right in with The SR Team and their fleet. He is an avid boater, loves traveling with his wife, and playing with their bulldog, Wally.
